Sorry it has been a while since I posted but life gets busy!
I am getting ready to go on a scrapbook retreat...I am so excited!! It has been a while.
With that, I thought I better get a jump start on a scrapbook layout for our local community Paper Arts Club. Here is what I came up with, using misc. supplies found while redoing my craft room. I am in the middle of reorganizing and decided it is time to purge items I won't use anymore. I am encouraging our club members to do the same. We decided to have a swap day and what is left over we will donate.
I love my new Cricut Explore! Have been taking classes to learn how to better use it from Cara Miller: here is her link if you are interested: http://www.caramiller.com/
She is an awesome instructor!!!
Well here is the layout...hope you like it! I used the Explore to make the border with the birds using the slice method.
Happy Crafting!

February Scrapbook Layout
It's that time again to do a layout for our community club and I thought hearts but I really did not want to do a Valentine layout. So I came up with this....Hope they like it!
For the squares, I used a punch I got from Creative Memories years ago and just found it again in reorganizing and purge of my craft room. I think it is called Geometric, and I also used a Cricut cartridge I forgot about called Going Places for the camera and smile title. The blue pattern paper does have some hearts on it which I got from Close to my Heart called Heartstrings. I also used my homemade enamel dots and a glitter heart on the I of smile that also came from the Heartstrings collection. All in all I think it turned out pretty good! Just saw my bottom enamel dots are crooked. I will have to correct that...LOL...
Thanks for stopping by!
