April Scrapbook Layout for Club

It's that time to come up with a scrapbook layout for our local paper arts club and I am trying to come up with a different style since it seems I keep going down the same style road each month.  I hope I succeeded.  I used the stamp set and enamel dots from the CTMH Seaside WOTG Kit and an old Creative Memories punch I had.  I had some leftover Triangle Studs  from another project and Memento Black Ink.  Let me know what you think!

(one of these days I will learn to take better pictures)

Glitter Project and Purging Our Craft Rooms!

This upcoming Wednesday, our community club is having an exchange of items we have purged from our craft room.  Can't wait to see what everyone brings.  Once a year we try and purge items we no longer need or want to make room for new!  What fun!  While we are (shopping), I thought we could play with some glitter!  I took a free Scrapinar from Lain Ehmann, Layout a Day last month and it was all about glitter.   So I am going to give it a try!  Used many of the suggestions from Windy Robinson, the instructor.  See what I came up with...Picture doesn't do it justice.

If you are interested in March's free Scrapinar, check Lain Ehmann's site out, this month it is Heritage Scrapbooking !

Easter and Sympathy Card

Here are 2 cards we just made at club this week.  Did a print and cut with the Cricut for the Easter card and the CTMH stamp set Hopping By D1633 for the sentiments.  For the Sympathy card I used the CTMH Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge inspired by Joy at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.  I did not have the stamp set for the sentiment so I used the Cricut pen which matched really close to the Lagoon Cardstock which we used for the card base. I think it turned out rather well.  Used a font I had on a cartridge (forgot which one).   Take a look!
