Fall is here!

It's that time of the year! Temperatures are starting to cool down, finally! I had made several Thanksgiving cards last month but found I was short one,so back to the craft table. I found an idea I believe on Pinterest and changed it up.

I used the new Window Thin cuts from CTMH and the new paper packet called Wood Grain. Sentiment from an expired stamp set. Added a little bling and I think it is ready to go!

The paper is from the new collection called Wood Grain Paper Packet  X8017. So check it out. Great woodsy prints!

Fall Cards

Found a slim line style card base in my stash so I decided to make a fall card using a retired leaf thin cut and distress oxide ink I had.  I made my own color paper to cut the leaves from with the distress oxide inks which I love doing. The second card I used a new stamp and die set I got from Scrapbook.com called Gnome for Thanksgiving by Photo Play Paper. I love gnomes. My coloring still needs work but I think it still turned out alright! Used the Stitched Rectangle frames thin cuts. Not sure where the banner die came from but the circle stitched die is from My Creative Time, not sure if it is still available.

Hope these inspired you to get crafting!  It can be relaxing and fun!  Let your imagination go wild!

Christmas in August

Well, the work continues! More Christmas cards done.  Used some retired papers and embellishments! Trying to use my stash up.  It will take me years, and I bet I am not alone!  Not sure where I got the poinsettia die from but I think it goes well with the CTMH papers and embellishments.  The second card used Oh What fun Papers and stamps.  Not the traditional colors but it certainly will brighten the occasion.

Hope this inspires you to start your cards!  Christmas will be here before you know it!

Craft Roulette Entry

Craft Roulette! It's that time again! I missed last week entry but this week I really loved the choices so I could use up some retired papers and stamp set that is retired but never used.
Criteria was:
Z fold card
Dull green plus two colors
Plant element
Tearing

Here is what I came up with!

I used Goldrush ink, Fern, and Pewter ink. I thought Fern was a dull green.  It just had to not be bright!  One card down for thanksgiving!

Hope this inspires you! Don't forget to check her site out and try the challenges!

Please stop by my store for your crafting needs!  Our new catalog had some wonderful idea!

5th Entry to Craft Roulette

While we are roasting here in Arizona, I decided to try my hand at the Craft Roulette challenge from MaryGunnFunn on Friday!
Criteria:
Small Bag
Colors are Bold like a First grader
Fruit
Use Brushes
So here is what I came up with!

Paper is from SU and got to use up some old items like the apple stickers. Brushed CTMH Smoothie ink on the banner. I had some old CTMH ribbon for the handle and I also popped up the label on the bag.

Had fun even thought bags and boxes are not my thing but it will come in handy giving a gift card or candy to someone.

Another Card Challenge!

This past Friday was another Craft Roulette and the wheel choose gate-fold card, neutral colors plus one,cat element and Crinkle Inkle. I just learned what crinkle inkle was and if you don't, here what I was told. Crinkle paper up and then dip or rub into ink and then on whatever card element you what to use it on just dab it on. Much like using a dauber but with crinkled paper! Who would have thought!  So here is what I came up with!

Well, I hope you like it! I thought it was pretty clever!

Don't forget to stop by my store, the current catalog ends in 2 days!
