Halloween Time Again!

Welcome back! I made another Halloween card for our Great-Grandchildren in Florida!  I think they will like it!

I used a retired set Frightful Friends which I had bought at the July sale CTMH had but I see it is not available any more. You certainly can use what stamp set that you have on hand! I did some coloring with our Tri-Blend Markers. I am still learning coloring with markers. Practice, Practice and more Practice!

Thanks for stopping by! Check out my store before our current catalog expires August 31. Some items may stay in the online only column but we never know!

Halloween Time!

Since my Christmas cards are done, I decided to start a few Halloween cards. I don't have many people to send to but I started on one for my Granddaughter who started college this year. I thought it might brighten her day to know we are thinking of her!

I used Spooky Gnomes stamp set for this card. I don't have the dies so I had to fussy cut the broom and gnome! I used a blending brush on the white mat with pansy ink pad. The circle was from paper found in my stash. Not sure where it was from. May have to add some gems to the card! Always need bling!

Used some retired paper from my stash and black glitter paper. Made a shaker card with glitter bats and stars. Used retired shimmer tape but I think it still needs more bling!

Not sure which one I will send to my Granddaughter. I hope she likes which ever one I send her!

Thank you for stopping by!

Craft Roulette #75

Well another episode of Craft Roulette this past Friday! The parameters were a window card, red background, fruit and in the corner.  I get to use a stamp set I love! Eat Play Love Cardmaking Workshop G1228. It is in the online only column since it is not in the catalog anymore.

So here is my card!

I used a Stampin Up quilt embossing folder on the candy apple cardstock. Then I secured it to the card front and used the stitched oval die and cut through both layers. The inside is where the pie was stamped and I colored both the pie and the cherries with my colored pencils. Always have to add some bling!

Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by!

Jingle Joy Cardmaking Workshop

I believe this is my last Christmas card I need to do but who knows! This time I used the Jingle Joy Cardmaking Workshop kit . Learned a new tip which I never would of thought of. I don't use stickles as a rule but the kit came with the silver stickles so I decided to follow the workshop instructions and give it a try. Its a very simple tip, I just never thought of this.

It's hard to see but the tip was to put a few small drops of stickles on the small present and green zip strip and either use a palette knife or fingers and smear it over and let it dry. of course I used my fingers! Make sure you have a wipe ready to clean your fingers. It gives a sparkle to the present and zip strip. Never would of thought of that! So card #30 done! This is only 1 of 4 examples of the cards you can make so if you like it this kit, its only available as supplies last. This was from an older catalog so it is online only.

Thank you for stopping by!

Craft Roulette #74

I forgot to post my entry from last week's Craft Roulette show! The parameters were a fun fold card, pattern paper you have, maps and stencil with ink or watercolor. I didn't have maps per say but I did have my Arizona state image. I also used some retired Prickly Pear paper. Here's what I came up with.

I did send this to by bestie in Pennsylvania. I hope she likes it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Craft Roulette #73

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I was not sure I would do this weekends challenge but I gave it a shot.  Parameters were matchbook card, any colors ,flowers and use something that is on your desk(mesk). Not a fan of matchbook cards but here is my attempt.

The flower mat I used was on my desk, waiting to be used. Now to see what I can put inside. Sentiment and/or a chocolate goodie?

Craft Roulette Challenge #72

Back again for another Craft Roulette challenge. This weeks parameters were a window card, blue green +2 colors, stacks and gifts or presents.

The window die cut came from Gina K's master layouts 5 and the stamp set came from CTMH Jingle Joy Cardmaking Workshop G1219. Pewter Cardstock for the window frame and the mat was from the Wood Grain Paper Packet. Used our tri-blend makers to color in the presents. Tree came from a retired Stampin up set. I had fun making it but I think the background needs a little something but submitted it anyway.  I may add something later.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you check out Craft Roulette for some crafting fun! You never know what the spinning wheel parameters will be.

Craft Roulette Challenge #71

It's been awhile since I made a card for the Craft roulette challenge since I was working on the Christmas in July event. Episode #71's parameters were slimline or mini slimline card; yellow +2 colors; tasty treat(s) and polka dots. SO here is what I came up with!

I used the Polka dots embossing folder for the background and Sweet Fruit Stamp and Thin cuts for the sentiment and cherries. I think it turned out pretty good!
