Tammy Tutterow Background Basic Class
Well I had fun yesterday taking a class at our local craft store, Scraps of Love, with Tammy Tutterow!
She taught us various techniques using distress inks; stains, paints, sanding and stencils and so much more. I can't wait to share them with our local community art club. Messy but so much fun! Colors were limited so don't judge how they look based on that, it was the technique she was teaching.

Christmas Card Class
Christmas card samples for a class I am holding. I am so excited!
What embossing and bling can do for a card! I did use some pearls and gems I had on hand that were not CTMH. The embossing folders were from Spellbinders and Provocraft.
Check out my store for any of these items or any other crafting needs!

Christmas Embossing!
Sorry it's been awhile! Been very busy! Here is a card we did at our community paper arts club. Love how it turned out! I really like using embossing folders and embossing powders. They make such a dramatic effect.
Hope you like it! Great way to use scraps up also!

Oh Christmas Tree!
I have been going through my craft room purging the old to make room for the new and I stumbled across some items I bought at the Spellbinders Warehouse sell last year. One of which was a pack of aluminum sheets. So I figured I would do something with them.
First I blended alcohol inks on a sheet to color it and then I had to
decide WHAT NEXT! So I thought I would try and run it through my big
shot. I ran it through several times thinking it would cut the die
design out because the aluminum sheet was thin. It did not cut through
like it does on paper but realized it was cut enough that I could gently
pop it out. Started with a mat and stamped a swirl tree from a stamp set from Stampin Up and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Added some bling and then placed the colored aluminum tree on with pop-ups. Not sure what base I will mount this on or if I will add a title but I just wanted to experiment. Not sure if this is anything I would want to work with again but I can say I tried!
Let me know if you have any other ideas of what to do with these aluminum sheets.
