Here are two of the 4 cards we are doing for my February Home Class.  One idea I got from a fellow consultant.  I just fell in love with them.  Never heard of the split card technique but I checked YouTube and there are plenty of videos and versions.  Hope you like them!

More cards made from retired paper and stamps when cleaning my craft room out!   Like how they turned out.  Simple but cute!

Another card made using a new die I got from Scrapbooking Made Simple.   I forgot I had ordered it a month or so ago and just received it.  There was a card box die also.  Can't wait to try that out!

Masculine Birthday Card

Making masculine cards is sometimes difficult.  In cleaning out my craft room I again stumbled upon some paper that easily gave me an idea for a card.

Check it out!

Used a retired set C1593 and retired paper called Jackson!
Also used a Spectrum Noir Glitter pen on the hat and mustache but it is hard to see.  It matched the blue in the paper.

I hope this inspired you to go through your old stash and re-purpose it!

Sympathy Card

Made a Sympathy Card using a new die I bought from HSN called Downton Abbey Papercrafting 2 pack Frame Dies Squares and Ovals.
Also used some retired Fundamental Paper and stamp set Heartfelt Thoughts C1661.

 

I love how it looks!

Hello Friend!

It's that time of the year when I clean out my craft room.  Came across some paper that I forgot about and decided to do a card with a new stamp set.   
Take a look!

Used Hi Friend Stamp Set and old Georgie paper with Champagne and Juniper Ink.  The ribbon is from Stampin Up.
