Final Christmas Card for the Year!

Final Christmas Card for the year!  Got the cut file from Misskatecuttables today and just had to do one more card for our local club.  Paper used is from the CTMH 'Tis the Season Paper Packet  and Candy Apple Cardstock.  Added a silver glitter star on top from my stash.  Also, after adhering the cut file to the pattern paper, I used the Clear Shimmer Brush to go over the words.  Hope you like it!

Hanukkah Card 2018

Here is my Hanukkah card for this year.  Begins the evening of December 2 and ends the evening of  December 10th.  So to all my Jewish friends...Happy Hanukkah!

Used FaLaLa several times for the inside sentiment using post-it notes to cover parts I did not want!

Changed the happy day sentiment to just a note from stamp set My Type of Note B1631 and a happy birthday inside.

Redo on my Thanksgiving card

A little redo on my Thanksgiving card posted yesterday!  I like this one much better.  I don't know what I was thinking before.  Sometimes you have it and sometimes you don't.  Just took the mat with thanksgiving stamped and colored on and used oval die I had from scrapbookingmadesimple.com.  What do you think?

Added some bling too!

Cards for our local Club!

Worked on a few cards for our local card club!  Hope they like them!

 

I used an embossing folder for the side and sponged ink and used retired stamp sets for sentiment and deer.  Homemade dots and misc twine.

 

Retired Halloween paper but the bats were from the new SU bat punch and used the new CTMH black shimmer pen to give it bling

Thanksgiving Card

Here is a Thanksgiving Card using our new Grateful Heart Paper Packet. I love the colors!

I used the Hello Pumpkin stamp set for the pumpkins.  For the leaves I used the new Grateful Heart- Cardmaking stamp set.
 

Had a retired sentiment for the front of the card.  So here goes!

Woven Star Christmas Ornament

Found a YouTube video on making a woven star Christmas ornament.  Many of you may have accomplished this but this is my first attempt.  Still need to work on it and find a smaller hole punch and some better cording.  Just used some old paper I had to try it out.

Got my MOJO back!

Worked on a couple of cards these last few days!  Hibernated in the craft room and got my crafty on!  

 This was from a kit I found from the last catalog.  Decided to put it to use!

This idea came from a group I follow.  I used our new Sugarplum glitter paper,Boutique Paper Packet and of course our new Hedge-hugs stamp set B1641.  He is so cute!  I also used our new Seasons Mix-in Paper Pack.

Thanksgiving Card

I did a Thanksgiving card today using a new stamp set that CTMH has in the new catalog.  Never would I have thought it could be used for so much more then intended!  It is so versatile, it can be used for any occasion.  I need to start thinking outside the box when looking at stamp sets.  I came up with this all by myself!

Masculine Card

It is so hard to come up with a masculine card so when I saw some car stamp sets at the Scrapbook Expo Friday in Mesa I just had to get them.  This is one of the them from Rubberneck Stamp Company.   I used the Chevron embossing folder and Guy Greetings from SU with a few black dots.  I also had a rectangle die set from Scrapbooking made Simple to cut out the frame on the white mat.  This one is the Mustang and I also got the Corvette.

I hope our local club likes it!  Don't want to forget the men in our lives!

Halloween is Coming!

Well it is getting closer to fall!  Not to soon for me!  So we will start with a Halloween card!  
I bought a set from Michael's that included an embossing folder; stamps and dies!  Tim Holtz Hocus Pocus Halloween Framelits, Stamps & Folder Set 563075.  I love it!
Also added a little red shimmer brush to it from CTMH and some black gems.

 Now if the weather would just get cooler!

Scrapbook Expo 2018

Went to Scrapbook Expo in Mesa and what fun it was!  Took 2 class and here is what I made.
 
Using Altenew Stencils and ink sprays :

Fancy Pants Designs: Magnolia Moments Collection; paper, chipboard spools and wood slices

Using a mini score board by We R Memory Keepers;Heidi Swapp Wanderlust paper; Photoplay Fun with Friends paper and Cricut.

 
 
This was made using The Stamps of Life: Handle Box Die and paper from Echo Park.  They had the box already cut out but we did receive the die for future boxes.

It was a blast to go.  Gina K was there also demonstrating her Wreath Builder kit.  Of course I had to get that!

Black Ice Technique!

Here is my attempt of the black ice technique for cards.  This was my 5th attempt and it is not exactly how it is suppose to look but close enough.  I ran out of foil paper.  I need more practice.  It really is not difficult but does have to have the right touch.  Lots of YouTube's about the black ice technique. Check it out!

Card Club

I saw a card made from a stamp set I bought at a local craft store and decided to sort of copy it.  I made a few changes!  For the background, I used 3 shades of Distress Oxide Ink because it blends easier than regular ink.  Used my cricut for the hill.  Added a few more quail.  I love how it turned out!
