Card Class Fun!

Had our monthly card class this week and all I can say is WOW!  Everyone did an outstanding job!  Some put their own twist to the cards.  Had such fun seeing everyone again!  Here's the samples:

Used La Vie En Rose Paper Pack and the stamp set from the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection.
The bows were cut from my Cricut Explore machine which are free right now.  Some gems from my stash for bling.  Gotta have bling!

Used the NEW Charlotte Paper Pack and the NEW Springtime Wishes Stamp set with the matching Springtime Wishes Thin Cuts and topped it off with the Sequins Gold Assortment

This card used the pattern paper from the New Charlotte Paper Pack and Beloved Bouquet, January's Stamp of the Month.  You can get this stamp set for just $5 if you spend $50 or more, so check it out because it is only available this month.  Love the layered flower.  Finally tried the 2 stamp method and after getting the hang of it I found it pretty easy.

Last but not least..used January's SOTM Beloved Bouquet stamp set again.  It is very versatile, not just a valentine set.  Paper is from the La Vie En Rose Paper Pack for the mat and Whisper Cardstock and White Daisy Cardstock. For some sparkle I used our Gold Glitter Paper

Alcohol Inks with Tim Holtz Trophies

I needed to create awards for my husband's fantasy football group. Last year I had done award certificates, so this year I wanted to come up with something else.  I came up with using mini trophies from Idea-Ology.  The pictures do not do them justice, but at least you get the idea.  Used alcohol inks to paint them and then used my cricut to write the names and cut the footballs out and I used popups to place them on the trophies.  Along with a few accessories from the Party Store I think we have a winner!  LOL!!!

Here is a Thank you card I did recently and just found the photo for it so I thought I would post it!

I used a border punch that I got years ago from Creative Memories.  Not sure if the new company carries it anymore.  I used CTMH Fern Thick Twine and Fern ink with the White Pines Paper Pack.  Adding a little Red Glitter Paper from CTMH gives it a wow factor!

Dapper Giraffe Birthday Card (My Version) and a Valentine Card

Close to My Heart has a cute card kit called Cut Above™ Dapper Giraffe Card Kit.  Here is my version of the card.

Sorry the inside picture is blurry.  I added a black gem on his tie and and inside saying from another stamp set I had from Cardztv.  I think it is so cute!

I also did a Valentine card using my Cricut.  I love the Teddy Bear Cartridge!  It has so many outfits for different occasions so I just had to do the valentine outfit.  I used Elegant Edges for the frame mats.  I used the heart that the frame cut out for the inside.  Nothing goes to waste.

The sentiment for the front and inside of the card came from the new Stamp of the Month called Beloved Bouquet.  If you spend $50 you can get this stamp set for just $5 for the month of January only.   I love the layered flower, more examples coming for that.

I love this set, it is more than just for valentine's!

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a great Holiday and a Happy New Year!

Are we ready for 2016?  I know we all have made New Year resolutions, I certainly did!  I want to eat healthier and get back to scrapbooking!  I really need to do this!!
