Swiss Dots Embossed Card

In the crafting mood this weekend!  Another birthday card design which can also be used for any other sentiment.  Let me know what you think!

Used the Swiss dots embossing folder on a retired CTMH paper called Smokey Plum.  The flag banner also from a retired Fundamentals Paper Pack.  Slate Ink for the sentiment.  The stamp set used is B1504 Sending Love.  It has a variety of sayings which makes it very versatile.  Used my Cricut Explore to cut the circles and scallop circle.  A very simple card but I like how it turned out.

Happy Birthday Card

Birthday cards are requested very often at our club so I have done another one which I think could be used for a male depending on the color of paper and ink used.  Let me know what you think!

Used my print and cut option on the Cricut Explore for the balloon mat.  Gold sequins from my stash and colored the pink ones with my ShinHan™ Touch Twin™ Tender Pink Marker. 

Cut a doily out from the Cricut cartridge Artiste and cut in fourths.  CTMH Paper Fundamentals: Adventure used for the pink strip for the card on the left and green strip on the right.  The dots paper are from the retired paper pack called Seaside.

Tammy Tutterow Tag Class

Took a class a few months ago from Tammy Tutterow at a local craft store.  We did a variety of tags using different applications.  Distress inks, distress paints and Spray Stains.  Here are the samples:

 

Here's a card made from one of the tags!  Roses were cut from the Close To My Heart Cricut cartridge Artistry.  Sentiment came from stamp set B1504 Sending Love.

I showed our local Paper Arts club four of the techniques and we made this card just to give an idea what can be done.  There are so many options with these tags, can't wait to do more.

Cricut Club Cards and More!

Cricut Time!  Love using my Cricut to make cards!  Here are a few....

 

Made two versions of this one using  CTMH Sangria Paper Packet.  Cardztv for the sentiment stamps.  The cake is from a retired stamp set.

 

Did I say I love my Cricut!!!!


Also made a few other cards for the at home class I am having:

CTMH Georgie Paper Packet was used for the 2 smaller mats and Juniper Cardstock for the background mat.  The frames and flowers were made from Spellbinder dies I had.  Sentiment came from CardzTv stamp set called Heartfelt Wishes.  Added a little bling in the middle of the flower and I think it turned out great! 

 

This card was inspired by the March Stamp Of The Month "Sunshine Birdies" from CTMH.   It's so cute.  Only available the month of March.  Spend $50 and get this set just for $5.  So check it out!

Eaater Cards!

Last week I was in a birthday card mood, this week I seem to be in a Easter card mood.

I got a new die and stamp set from a company I stumbled upon called Fun Stampers Journey and found a bunny I just could not resist.  Check it out!

The stamp set has a sentiment I used for the front and the inside sentiment came from a CardzTV stamp set called Easter Punnies.   Used my Vines Embossing folder from CTMH for the edge of the front mat and used a dauber to highlight them in Sweet Leaf ink.  The butterfly stamp is from a CTMH stamp set called  Hopping By D1633 which is not in the catalog but is still available to purchase for a short time.

My other card:

The bunny is from Misskatecuttables  which is a site that sells svg cuts for your electronic die-cutting machine.  They have free daily downloads and this was one of them.  If you have a electronic  die-cutting machine that takes svgs you should check it out!  The bunny ears where whole but I used a circle and "sliced" out pieces to make it look like it was bitten into.  I have a Cricut Explore machine but you should be able to make it with any electronic die-cutting machine you have.  I used again my stamp set from CardzTV called Easter Punnies for the front sentiment.  My homemade enamel dots for accents.  You can find tutorials on YouTube on how to make these.  I had some egg pattern paper in my stash, not sure where I got it from.  The green pattern paper is from the Penelope Paper Packet from CTMH.  I just think this turned out so cute!
