Watercolor Lifting!

I found a watercolor lifting technique from Jennifer McGuire's blog and decided to give it a try!  I have distress markers and ink along with regular markers and watercolor paper so I tried several different ways.  I did find that Rangers watercolor paper worked the best.  I like the distress inks and markers better then regular ink markers. So give it a try with whatever you have and see what works for you!

I also used CTMH New Ornate Blossoms and Hawaiian Hibiscus stamp sets.
I cut the butterflies from my Cricut with the Art Philosophy cartridge.

Operation Smile Inspired Card

I purchased the Operations Smile stamp set "Animal Greetings" because they donate a portion of the money to Operation Smile™ which gives surgical needs to cleft lip or cleft palate children around the world.  It's also cute!  I finally did a card with it inspired from Pinterest!   Check it out!

Magical!

The NEW Magical Paper Packet was used for this card.  The technique came from another consultant which I wish I could give credit to but have forgotten to write it down.  Sorry!  Used the CTMH Cricut Artistry cartridge for the hexagon and frame.  I love..love...love how it turned out!

Also used the Magical Sequins and Blue Shimmer Trim.  The stamp set used for the sentiment My Anchor is retired.  Not shown, but the inside sentiment ( have a magical day!) is from the NEW Fairytale Birthday stamp set.

Flamingos everywhere!

I just love the New "Tinkled Pink" stamp set from CTMH with the matching  Thin Cuts!  Found a very cute card from one of my Facebook groups and just had to try it.  I used the Cricut to write the words on the banner and mat.  The new washi tape and sequins (which are sold out) are from the Calypso Scrapbooking line.  Glad I got mine before it sold out.  Let me know what you think!

Push n Pull Card

Found on Pinterest somehow, not sure what I was looking for.  I thought I would give it a try.  The video showed measurements in centimeters so I had to reconfigure it.  This is what I came up with.  It is a 5x7 card which is not my usually size card that I make but for my first time I did not want to do an A2 size card.  I like how it turned out.  It was a lot of trail and error but I was glad I tried.

I used paper from the CTMH Urban Paper pack and a stamp set from our local paper craft store.

"Tickled Pink" Thank you Card

I just love the New stamp set "Tickled Pink" C1651 and the matching Thin Cuts Z3228.  They made their debut in the NEW Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book.

I love the matching papers also that are in the NEW Calypso Paper Packet X7210B.

So here is the thank you card I made:

It measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2 " using White Daisy cardstock.  I made the envelope with my WeR Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and the paper from the Calypso Paper Pack.  I also used the Calypso Washi Tape Z3219 to close the envelope.

Inks used were Pixie for the body; Smoothie for the wings and Memento Tuxedo Black ink for the legs, beak and sentiment.  The sentiment came from the retired set Springtime Wishes from Seasonal Expressions 1 Idea Book.  

Inside the card which I forgot to take a picture of has a strip of the paper used on the outside and stamped on it is the sentiment "you are fabulous" from the Tinkled Pink stamp set.  A little bling from my scraps and I think it turned out so cute.

Happy Birthday using the SOTM "Celebrate with Cake"

Here's a card using the May 2016 SOTM "Celebrate with Cake".  You can get this stamp set for only $5 if you spend $50 or more.  

Papers came from the Georgie Paper Packet.  Ink used was Slate, Glacier and a retired ink from SU.  I used that because I had a marker that matched so I could color the circles in on the cake base.  Used Bitty Sparkles for some bling!  Hope you like it!

Happy Times- Hello

Another card using "Happy Times" National Scrapbooking Month special stamp set.  Along with retired stamp set CC1041 and D1619 and Canary,Thistle,Sweet Leaf, Honey and Sorbet Ink pads this card came together.  I really like how this turned out.  Hope you do also!

Hawaiian Hibiscus Birthday Card

I created a birthday card using the NEW Hawaiian Hibiscus stamp set from the NEW Seasonal Expressions 2 Idea Book. 

This is one of my many favorite stamp sets from the new idea book. 

Crystal Blue and Honey Ink Pads was used for the flowers and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink for the sentiment.  Retired Oceanside Sequins for some bling.  Retired Wanderful and Seaside paper from my stash. This is so cute and simple.  It was not hard to fussy cut the flowers out.

"Happy Times" Card

Here is a card I made using the new "Happy Times" Paper Packet and Stamp set.  

I also used Fern, Canary and White Daisy Cardstock.   Green Shimmer Trim was used in the middle of the card along with Gold Sequins Assortment and Pink Enamel Gems.  I used Fern and Smoothie ink pads to stamp the flower and leaves.

I love how it turned out.
