Christmas in July

Had a fun craft day with friends. Got a jump start on our Christmas cards! Check it out! 

Used a variety of products. Used were sets from Stampin Up, Gina K and Spellbinders. So don't be afraid to combine items from other sets. Use those supplies!

Card for my Grandson's Birthday

This idea came from Pinterest and found out it was posted by a friend of mine. I made a few changes  but still used the same CTMH stamp set they sold before closing!

Here's my card!

Also used GinaK Master Layouts 4 for the postage stamp die.

I hope my Grandson likes it! We play Farkle a lot so that is what inspired all the dice items.

Masculine Card for any occasion

I had my hand of another attempt at a masculine card. This one is for a birthday but could be for any occasion.

Using the Lake Life Cardmaking workshop kit from CTMH sold by Stampin Up.

I had to use my Cricut to cut the lily pads and flowers since I did not have a stamp set for it. Happy birthday was done by hot foiling which I have not done for awhile.

I got the inspiration again from Pinterest!

Craft Roulette #219

The requirements for Craft Roulette show #219 was Anniversary for project; salad for the colors; element was new and random was corner fold. Using some paper from CTMH her is what I came up with. 

The new is the card base which was cut 5-1/2” x 7-3/4” scored parallel to the short side at 4-1/4”. Found the new style from Pinterest when I was looking for some masculine type card ideas.  

So if you have not tried Craft Roulette out yet, give it a try. It really stretches the brain cells! LOL!

Father's Day Card

I made my husband a Father's Day card from my recent purchase from Stampin Up.  I am on a mission to learn to do more masculine cards. This can also be a birthday card  or any message for the men in your life!

I love how it turned out! I used In the Grove stamp and die set #163512. The background paper came from the Thoughtful Journey 6x6 paper pack #163303. I followed Frenchie Stamps video from Facebook and did my version.

Craft Roulette Challenge #217

 Another entry for the Craft Roulette challenge! The parameters were A2; French café colors; June and polka dots.

So my June parameter is a friends birthday this month and the A2 card has peach and greys and blues for colors and used a polka dot embossing folder.

Used Stampin Up paper and Gina K stamp set and Cuttlebug embossing folder and used nectarine ink pad from CTMH. It matched the peach in the pattern paper.

Paper Pumpkin

In my starter kit from Stampin Up, I received a Paper Pumpkin kit! Simple to put together but still great cards! I made a few changes from their examples but not many.

Mother's Day Card

Mother's day card using the new stamp set I received in my Stampin Up starter kit called Flower Cart.

I used paper from CTMH called Memory Lane and Honey Butter and Sweet Leaf ink pads. I colored the big bouquet with Honey Butter using my watercolor pen and the smaller flowers with Intense Pink Colorista colored pencil. 

I still have a ways to go with my coloring techniques but not too bad this time.

Sad News! Goodbye CTMH

Sad News! As of April 30, I am no longer a CTMH consultant. As previously announce, they are closing their doors. They are having close-out sales going on now, so you can still order from them directly by going to closetomyheart.com.

Good news! I have signed up to be a Stampin Up consultant for now. Starting over is hard but will give it a try! So, if you do shop with Stampin up and do not have a demonstrator, please search for my name in find demonstrator tab and type my name in. It would be appreciated and help start my business up. 

Since I just got back from a vacation, I have not had time to look into my starter kit, so stay tuned!

Craft Roulette Show #210

If you don't know already, I follow Craft Roulette on YouTube Friday nights! It's a great card making game show! They spin a wheel to pick parameters to follow to make a card. 

This week is Project- include action (cat is on a wobble)

                     Colors- Northern Lights

                     Element- Blackboard

                     Random- Oval

So here is my entry:

So far I am up to 154 entries!

I used stamp set #Z8012 Here we go again and Pansy, Bluebird and Clover for ink colors to blend on white cardstock. Had to emboss the saying on the blackboard that I had to cut out from my Cricut.

Since CTMH is closing its doors, this stamp set is not available. But check out the clearance, it is constantly changing!

Farewell to Sticky Family

Close to my Heart Announcement

It is a crazy time right now! Close to my Heart announced a few weeks ago it is closing its doors.

My last day to be a consultant is April 30 so lets go out with a bang. Please use my link to my shopping site.
