Card #16 Christmas in July

Can you believe card #16! Wow, at this rate I may get all my cards done this month. Using from my stash again! The stamp set I am using is expired but I never used it! Well, now's the time! I used Spruced Up-scrapbooking stamp set. Any house or barn stamp set you have would work. I got this idea from Pinterest and made it my own.

Here's my card! I used Simon Says Stamps Wonky Rectangles Wafer Dies on the white mat. I just love the wonky lines!😁

Christmas in July Card#13,14 and 15

Using my stash for these next 3 cards. I am using a stamp set that is retired called  Hymns of Praise C1653. The paper I am using is retired. Sometimes you just have to use what you have. I had to search Pinterest to inspire me and put my own twist on them.  Hope you like them!

I did you Z3899 Elegant Snowflakes on this card. Hopefully you picked this up from the Christmas in July sale! I used white embossing powder for the snowflakes on the Desert sand cardstock. I used Glacier ink to blend color onto the bigger snowflake. 

This card I had to use a stamp set from GinaK for the pine cones and stems. 

This card I really used my stash products. I like how it turned out!

Card #12- Christmas in July Challenge!

Ok, card #12! Still using The Jubilee Crew Stamp and die set Z3901. Hopefully after the Christmas in July sale this is still available!

I used two different paper packs called Jingle Joy X7262S and Holly Jolly X7205S for the mats. I used the Multi Square Windows die Z4023 . Tri-blends makers were Gold Brown Shade and Alpine Green Blend for the bear and Dark Red Blend for the snowman. A few silver sequins from my stash and its done!

Christmas in July- Card #11

My theme at Christmas is snowman! I decorate the house and yard with them. So naturally I love making cards with them. So it is time to move on to a snowman stamp set that I have not used called The Jubilee Crew Z3901. It's from a previous catalog but is still available online. So grab it now while you can! It is such a cute set.

Here is my card:

I used 2 sheets from the Jingle Joy Paper Packet for the mats X7262S which is still available. I used retired Green shimmer trim to separate the two mats but you can use silver or ribbon. There are a few options available in my store. I stamped the sentiment on a banner from Stitched Scalloped Brackets Thin cuts Z3688. I trimmed the top and adhered it to the top of the mat with the trees. The hill was cut using a die from Fancy Borders Z3682. I then ran it through the cascading dots embossing folder Z3695.  I colored in the snowman with our tri-blend markers, Alpine Green Blend and Magenta Blend. The red dots are just from my stash.

Hope you like it. The design was a combination of ideas from our catalog and I made it my own. So don't be afraid to take an idea from one design and use with another.

Christmas in July- Card #10 and Flash Sale

 Can you believe it! Card #10! WOW..I wish that was really all I had to send.😀

This is the second card using Z3899 Elegant Snowflakes.

The background mat is from Serenity Paper Packet but if you don't have that in your stash, you could do some blending with inks to achieve something similar and some sprinkles of ink. I had used the zip strip from the paper but I am sure you have something in your stash that could be used or stamp a border across. My gems were from my stash and the J and Y were cut from my Cricut but if you have alpha dies or stickers you could achieve the same effect. Hope that helps. Just use what you have. Christmas in July Challenge- Card #9

Well starting on a new set called Elegant Snowflakes stamp and Die set Z3899. It is from an older catalog but it is still available online. So if you are interested I would get it soon.

I really like the look of the snowflakes and they are easy to stamp and cut. I also used Blue Belle Gems Z7001 to accent. The sentiment is from the same set. The embossing folder is retired but you could use any dots folder. We also have Cascading Dots folder available if you don't have one Z3695. Just place your mat partially down to leave a blank spot to stamp the sentiment.

Bluebird cardstock mat X6039 and Carolina ink Z6505 for the one snowflake and I embossed another snowflake on Bluebird cardstock with White embossing powder Z2068. I think I really like this. It was easy to assemble and may make multiples of them.

Christmas in July Card Series #7 and #8

Moving on to another card from a stamp set not used. A retired Stamp of the Month S1912 Reindeer Crossing. I made two cards from this stamp set! 

I used Z4309 Circle Shaker Window thin cuts on Z3365 Gold Foil Paper and the white circle to stamp the reindeer onto with Desert Sand but you could use Z2827 Almond. I used a retired SU embossing folder for the background.

Cut 3 strips of white cardstock and ran them trough 2 different embossing folders. Connected them with Black Shimmer trim Z1809. Used my Cricut to cut fern stems out on New England Ivy cardstock X5959. I colored the sleigh with Charcoal ink Z2831 with a watercolor brush Z3225 which lightened it up. The bow is Z3550 Striped Ribbon Bows. I like the simple black and white colors. Not everything has to be red or green for Christmas.

Christmas in July- Card 6

I hope you all enjoyed the Gnome Christmas card series! Time to move onto another stamp set I have not used. C1871 was a Hostess set called Christmas Cardinal(not available now). I of course not having a cardinal in my arsenal I had to get it. Somehow though I never used it until now.  The card idea came from the flyer the stamp set was on but any cardinal or bird you have in your arsenal will work. 

Used Z2497 Dard Red TriBlend Marker and Z2485 Light Green TriBlend Marker. I used the red marker to color the Silver Glitter Gems Z4191. Did you know you could used your alcohol markers and color gems, dots or ribbon to match? Also used a zip strip from an old paper pack and since it was 1/2 inch wide, I cut it to 1/4 inch and put one on top and one on the bottom.

The stamp set I used were from Photo Play Company called Gnomes for Christmas along with retired CTMH  and SU products.  Pinterest is a great place to get ideas and then put your own twist to it and there you have it.

Christmas in July- Card 3

 All right! On to Card #3!

Last card using stamp set Z3902 Gnome for Christmas! Used New England Ivy Cardstock for the main mat, Paper from Comfort and Joy paper packet which maybe available online. Used the Tags and Tabs Thin cuts Z3726. Used a retired circle die but you can certainly use what you have in your stash. Added some embellishments from stash.

Gnome for Christmas!

Used Bluebird cardstock for the first mat, not sure where I got the snowflake pattern paper.  On the white strip, I stamped a small snowflake to make a background from  Z3899 Elegant Snowflakes which is from an older catalog but is still available online.

Christmas in July- Card 1

 Its that time of the year! I love Christmas!  Working on some gnome cards first!

So here is card #1

Used retired set Z3902 Gnome for Christmas, which is still available in the online only category in my store. 

The paper is from Jingle Joy Paper Packet X7262S which is still available. It goes perfect with this particular stamp. Love it!

The hills were made using the Fancy Borders Thin cuts Z3682.

The ink I used was black and evergreen! Used our Tri-blend markers to color the lite bulbs; Z2533 and Z2486.
